Monthly Allowance

  • Age 0-5: No Monthly Allowance

  • Age 6-8: $10

  • Age 9-13: $20

  • Age 14+: $30

Quarterly Clothing Allowance

Ages 3+  
— reimbursement only —
per child after original receipts are received. These receipts must be mailed/received within 45 days of receiving reimbursement, and/or before the next Quarterly allowance (Jan, April, July, Oct).

Annual Christmas Party

At Christmas each year we have a HUGE Christmas party.. Santa even comes!

 

Each child from Cherokee County that is in conservatorship of CPS will receive toys, clothing or a $100 for the purchase of Christmas gifts dependent upon the child's age. 

Our board works closely Ms. Tonya Fuller.  Tonya is part of the Faith Based and Community Engagement Division of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.  She has been employed with the State of Texas for 18 years.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Tyler in May 2008.  She then went on to be a caseworker with Child Protective Services in August 2008.  Tonya has worked as Family Based Safety Services caseworker, assisted with Smith County CPS for over a year, Foster/Adoptive Home Development and Recruitment Caseworker.  She has been in her current position as the Faith Based Program Specialist since November 2016.   Covering:  Anderson, Cherokee, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Marion, Panola, Rusk Smith, and Van Zandt counties.
